What it does
Upstairs is a native WeChat Mini Program inspired by work-from-home life: one person is too busy to eat, while someone at home quietly makes meals and drinks, turning care into warmth. Good food should not simply disappear after it is eaten; it can also be remembered and revisited. This app is not a public ordering platform, but an invite-only two-person life game for parents, partners, roommates, or friends. It focuses on people who often carry care, communication, and food planning. Upstairs is about noticing the small things someone does for you - and finding a playful way to say,' I appreciate that'. We want to turn ordinary moments at home into something a little more fun, a little more memorable, and a little more meaningful.
Are women the primary users, and how does that show
Upstairs can actually be used by anyone, but we designed it with women particularly in mind. In real life, much of this warmth around the table is created by women, which makes the project especially aligned with Herackthon. With handmade menus, partner invitations, order tracking, Stairs, and Hearts, Upstairs records small acts of care so they can be seen, answered, and appreciated. A tiny game, vibe-coded into a two-person romance.
