What it does

Folli is a gentle body journal for women with PMOS (still widely known as PCOS). It affects an estimated 10–13% of women worldwide, up to 70% are undiagnosed, and it touches periods, metabolism, skin, sleep and mood for life. Yet most women track it in scattered notes and memory, which makes patterns hard to see and hard to explain to a doctor. Folli turns this into eight friendly "bubbles": cycle, body & mood, sleep, meals, movement, intimacy, medication and test reports. Log one small thing in seconds, backfill missed days, and look back by date. No streaks, no guilt. Before a clinic visit, Folli builds a clear summary in Chinese or English to download or print. Privacy comes first: intimacy is left out of exports by default, and Folli never diagnoses or predicts ovulation. Today it is a working bilingual web demo; accounts with cloud sync, reminders and iOS/Android apps come next.

Are women the primary users, and how does that show

Yes. Folli is built for women 18+ with PMOS (former PCOS). Over a third spend 2+ years and see 3+ doctors before diagnosis. They face stigma around weight, hair, acne and infertility, higher anxiety and depression, and must juggle a period app, notes, photos and paper reports that never connect. Decisions made for them: • All in one place: cycle, mood, sleep, meals, movement, intimacy, medication and test reports share one timeline, so women can see how their body changes together instead of rebuilding their story before every visit. • One tap turns that record into a visit summary in Chinese or English, helping women be heard in short appointments. • No default pregnancy or weight-loss path, no calorie counts, no ovulation predictions. • Intimacy is left out of exports by default and can be hidden. • One feeling is enough to save; no streaks, and backfilling is easy. • Soft hand-drawn bubbles are companions, never judges.
